Letting in Air and Light in October

On October 20, I participated in the LMNL Arts Fall Fest at The Domino. Reading in front of Taylor (ha) was appropriate, as in the next few days she and the Swifties would arrive in New Orleans. Many thanks to Nikki Ummel and Michelle Nicholson for all they do for the community.

On October 26, (aka Swift Saturday) the Women’s National Book Club of New Orleans held their annual book launch party. I was honored to read with the other presenters, Carolyn Hembree and Katheryn Krotzer Laborde. Thanks to the WNBA-N.O. board for facilitating the event and to the audience members for such great questions.

Of course the big news in October for Letting in Air and Light was its selection as one of the three nominees for the 2025 One Book One New Orleans‘s citywide reading and literacy outreach. A big thank you to OBONO director Megan Holt and the board members for all they do for the community.
